Beef up your resume with this two-day hands-on course, which introduces students to the primary features and basic interface of Final Cut Pro. In this essential course you will learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the user interface. Topics include basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, ripple, roll, slip and slide tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing and final output.
Each student will be given a copy of the Course Textbook: Apple Pro Training Series: Final Cut Pro 6
About The Exam:
This course covers the requirements necessary to successfully become an Apple Certified Pro, Level One in Final Cut Pro. Your registration package includes the option to take the Level 1 exam. The exam will be administered the evening of Tuesday, November 11, following the close of the class. The exam can only be taken onsite during this time period. It cannot be taken at a later date. The exam takes approximately 2 hours.

Prerequisites:
Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending the course: basic knowledge of the Macintosh OS and basic knowledge of editing terminology is recommended. Purchasing and reviewing the book prior to the course is recommended to help ensure better success when taking the exam.
