This two-day hands-on course is designed for beginner and intermediate users who either want to learn the various editing tools and techniques available in Media Composer, or who want to enhance their editing skills in Media Composer.
Topics covered will include basic editing, capturing media, project organization, timeline techniques, trimming, layering, titling, transitions, color correction and adding special effects. Each student will enjoy their own workstation, to experience applied training from Avid Certified Instructors.
Upon completion of the two-day course, students will have the knowledge that will make them more efficient in their editing, and provide that something extra for landing the next job.
Prerequisites:
Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending the course: Intermediate knowledge of PC operation and basic knowledge of editing terminology is recommended. It is also recommended, but not required, to have a basic understanding of using Avid Media Composer.
